Pausing and Phrasing Exercises for English Pronunciation
Practise pauses, thought groups and natural phrasing so your English sounds clearer, calmer and easier to understand.
When we speak English naturally, we divide our sentences into small meaning groups.
These groups are called phrases or thought groups.
A short pause helps the listener follow your message.
Important: The goal is not to speak faster. The goal is to speak more clearly.
